These terms cover how you can use SomHack. By creating an account or using the platform, you agree to them. SomHack is based in Mogadishu, Somalia.
Your account
You need an account to use most of SomHack. Please give accurate information when you sign up and keep it up to date.
Account security
You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login details safe. Do not share your account. Tell us if you think someone else is using it.
Platform access
We give you access to use SomHack for your own learning. Some content or features may need a paid plan. We may add, change, or remove parts of the platform over time.
Learning content
SomHack content, including paths, modules, labs, lessons, and assessments, is for your own learning. It is provided for education and practice.
User responsibilities
You agree to use SomHack in a legal and responsible way. You must follow our Acceptable Use Policy and our Legal Disclaimer. You are responsible for what you do with your account.
Acceptable use
SomHack teaches cybersecurity skills. You may only use these skills in legal ways and on systems you own or have clear permission to test. Our Acceptable Use Policy explains what is and is not allowed.
Suspension and bans
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms, abuse the platform, or put other users at risk. We may do this to protect SomHack and the people who use it.
Content ownership
SomHack and its content, including text, labs, lessons, branding, and design, belong to SomHack or its licensors. You may not copy, resell, or republish our content without permission. You keep ownership of any original work you create yourself.
Paid access and subscriptions
Some SomHack content or features may require a paid plan. Paid access is based on the plan you select.
Payments may be handled through Premier Payment Gateway (PPG), powered by Mastercard Payment Gateway Services (MPGS), through WaafiPay for EVC Plus and Salaam Somali Bank linked payments, and through the eDahab Mobile Money API. SomHack does not store your full card details.
You may be able to manage or cancel paid access through your account, or by contacting us at support@somhack.com. Access may continue until the end of the paid period unless stated otherwise.
Note: Refund terms still need owner and legal review before launch and are not promised here.
Platform availability
We work to keep SomHack online and working, but we cannot promise it will always be available without interruption. There may be downtime for maintenance, updates, or reasons outside our control.
Disclaimers
SomHack is provided for learning. We do not promise that the platform will be error free or that it will meet every need. Skills learned on SomHack must only be used in legal and authorized ways.
Limitation of liability
As far as the law allows, SomHack is not responsible for losses that come from using the platform or from misuse of the skills taught here. You use SomHack at your own risk.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. When we make a meaningful change, we will update the date at the top of this page. If you keep using SomHack after a change, that means you accept the updated terms.
